  The shop is the reason for the bad review been sitting for an hour and a half the next in line to get steer tire and oil change. Then when ready to go in they decided to take a truck that just showed up 10 minutes ago.

  last night I was driving from Beaumont tx to Shiro Tx. and I stopped at this LOVES in Cleveland TX. I filled up. I drove about two miles and my car Konked out!!!! I was stranded on the side of the road in an unfamiliar town for over four hours. I tried calling several town companies in the area and all were busy towing cars that had just left this LOVES. YES, you guessed it, I PICKED UP WATER in my gas tank at this LOVES!!! Over 50 cars picked up water and were stranded all over Cleveland. I had a friend come and pick me up (she drove all the way from Montgomery TX to rescue me) and close to 11p.m. I finally got a tow truck to get my car to a local mechanic. Who went from a few cars to 30 plus cars in his auto repair shop because of this. I asked my friend to drive me back to this LOVES so that I could speak to the Manager. While cordial, he was very matter-or-fact. Probably towards the end of his shift and wanting to just clock out and go home, at least, that is how it seemed to me. I was told that LOVES would cover the cost of towing and repairs but did not know when and where and that I would have to pay for everything myself and they would reimburse me at a later date. Well, that is not ok with me. I did call the Corporate office last night and the guy was very nice, but did not seem to know anything about the water in gas tanks in Cleveland, tx. He had to have known because i was not the first person to call after so many hours. I have left my name and number at both the LOVEs in Cleveland and at the Corporate. I did get a call today from Corporate, but when I call back about five minutes later, I got an answering machine. LOVES has a good reputation for being a big, well lit, safe place to stop and gas up and eat, etc. I do hope that they step up to the plate and honor the repairs and tows of all the vehicles that were affected by this. There was a sweet little elderly couple waiting behind me to use my pump and they were all dressed up in their Black tie tuxedo and they were headed to Houston. I bet they never made it and I imagined this elderly couple stranded just a few miles away, SCARED. In front of me was a mom with a baby in a carseat, I know she was stranded a few miles away as well. These are people with faces and hearts and emotions LOVES, these are not just cars, and numbers and dollars. Stand up and do the honorable thing. Repair these cars and pay for the repairs as well as the tows. And please do not forget to refill my tank when you get done with the repairs. I am hopeful that Corporate will step up and conduct themselves with integrity and do the right thing. I will update this post as soon as some action is taken to make their customers 'Whole' - Ok, balls in your court Corporate!!!
